Frequently Asked Questions

  • Group lessons are usually once a week recurring or pre-milonga classes(one-hour lesson right before a tango social called a milonga) that involve a group of students talking a lesson with one teacher/couple. Reoccurring group lessons have some sort of level or subject like Beginner 1, Beginner 2, Intermediate/Advanced, or subjects like walking technique, boleos, sacadas.

Privates are an excellent was to supercharge your learning journey—a concentrated dose of tango(i.e. technique adjustments, movement quality, structure, musicality, and more!) Tailored to your aspirations.

Workshops are group lessons concentrated on a weekend(4-6 classes) with a concentrated shot of information on a particular subject—a balance between the concentrated information of a private and the rotation and collaboration of a group class.

Tango can be luxurious; rich in dance, style, and connection. Tango should not be like purchasing luxury goods; its a passion, hobby, and more—ask about volunteer positions and if that can involve a discount or free entry, or reach out to the organizer to see if something can be worked out!
